Transforming abandoned land into a place to call home.
The Brief
Abel Close, Hemel Hempstead.
The area around Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club is a hub of shops, restaurants and residential housing. 4Front Construction was approached by a local developer to help convert a sectioned-off piece of land which had been left bare, into something profitable. Situated within a residential area, the aim was to turn this empty space into a 3-bedroom, end-terrace property which would comfortably fit into the Abel Close aesthetics.

4Front provided a complete turnkey service for this domestic project. Starting with designs and plans for the build, we cleared the area and fitted the foundations before our team proceeded with the full structural build and domestic services, including:
- Exterior and interior brickwork
- Drainage and guttering
- Roofing and tiling
- Double-glazed windows
- New electrics and light fittings
- Plumbing for new bathroom and kitchen
The Outcome
We’ve turned a plot of unused land into a practical and stylish domestic home.
Creating a cosy living area, spacious kitchen and 3 good-sized bedrooms for a couple or young family. The modern features and fittings meant the new owners could move in straight away and customise the décor to their own choosing. The design, build and finish of the build resulted in a desirable property being put on the market. Which was quickly snapped up and sold for a profit.
