Ricardo appointed 4Front to deliver a high-specification office fit-out within a newly built Manchester office building.
The project involved transforming a blank office floor into a complete, functional workspace ready for staff relocation. With a fixed completion date and a 10-week delivery programme, the works needed to be carefully planned, coordinated and completed without delay.

What We Did
A complete office fit-out delivered across a live multi-storey building.
4Front were appointed following a competitive tender process and delivered the full office fit-out within the agreed programme.
The project required careful sequencing and site management due to access limitations within the building. With lift access unavailable for materials, additional labour and close project management were used to maintain progress while protecting health and safety standards.
Scope of work included:
- Construction of partitioned office spaces.
- Creation of larger office rooms with full-height windows and strong natural light.
- Meeting rooms and separate conference areas.
- Bespoke soundproofed phone booths, including design and installation.
- Kitchenette installation.
- Kitchen and breakout area.
- Café area.
- Electrical installation.
- Lighting installation throughout.
- Ceiling works.

- Decoration and internal finishes.
Specialist M&E subcontractors supported the delivery, with the majority of works managed in-house by 4Front.
