The Brief
Roade School Office & Training Room Conversion
Roade School, part of the Tove Trust, required a full refurbishment of old, underutilised classrooms. The goal was to create office space and training rooms that could also be rented out, maximising the value of the existing school estate.
Key considerations included:
- Budget management – costs were a priority, but increased as additional client requests were introduced.
- Operational sensitivity – works had to be carried out while the school remained open, with staff and pupils on site.
- Health & Safety – particular care was needed to ensure child safety and minimal disruption.
